The Institute of the Sacred Heart of Mary has few French sisters today. Two of them, “the finest flower of the language of Molière”, share with you their joy for having contributed to the French translation of the Institute’s website: “French is the language of the origins of the Congregation. It is, in fact, the language spoken by our Founder and of the first community of our sisters. It was in French that the first Constitutions were written. We are happy to know that French is still alive in our sharing. We feel deeply touched and honored, as the elders of the sisters in France, that we have been asked to do this translation. It is with joy and gratitude that we see our mother language “shouting it from the rooftops” alongside English, Portuguese and Spanish! ”
